Yes, My power steering pump is lower than the hydroboost. Mine donor truck was a 1978 1 ton Chevy 4x4 and it had the right, one piece pump and res. I wanted to use braided lines so I Tig welded on the AN fittings needed but the outlets were all there.
Mine has 3 hose connections, 2 to the hydroboost unit and one to the steering box.
