Windshield Frame still wont come apart?

Last night i drilled out the screws in my windshield, started with a very small bit and worked my way up until the screw heads came off (5/32) and then drilled down through the screw. After drilling out all the screws the windshield frame still wont come apart. Why is this? Am i missing something here? Seems like the inside ridge holding the glass in place is crimped on or something.
