I like the looks and strength of the original Warn M-13(?) hubs which were offered in 1962 as an option on the Power Wagon. These hubs are no longer made by Warn; I got mine on ebay.
In the picture is one after I cleaned and polished it, and the other as it was found.
Two different men who post here on the Forum, Stephen Fowler and Dan Shockley, have recently made very nice reproduction Warn hubs. They look like exact copies except for the Warn script on the outside.
Check "Phil's archives" on the masthead of the forum and do a search for Warn hubs, including a search for reproduction warn hubs.
Other types of hubs are Selectro, which I have for my M37 build, and Superwinch, which are no longer being made I think.
Finally there is Dualmatic hubs also found on occasion on ebay.
