V8 Tranny Kickdown

I need some help with adjusting the kickdown in my truck. I swapped out the
intake and carb for an Edelbrock setup. This is on a 318 with a 904 tranny.
Don't want to mess up the trans by having the kickdown way out of
adjustment.

Any tips, steps, pointers appreciated,
