Dodge stopped using Rzeppa axle ends on light trucks in 1942, when it ceased production of the WC 1/2 ton military trucks. Dodge stopped using Rzeppa end joint on the medium weight 2 ton W500 in 1958. Dodge began using Spicer U joints and yokes on light (1/2 & 3/4 ton) trucks in 1957 in the small, closed knuckle Dana 44F front axle.
