Does anyone have any solid feedback on the performance of these new engines? I know power wise they'll run circles around a Ford or Dodge diesel. I've read some interesting test literature from an independent testing agency and based strictly on data it appears it's a dynamite combination with the new Allison transmission. I listened to one run the other day in Anchorage and they're much quieter than either the Navstar or Cummins. Curious to see how the Isuzu engine and aluminum heads hold up, particularly in cold weather. I know and have heard all the old saw's about the cost, plastic, durability etc., so we could probably dispense with all that! Just looking for some realistic feedback. Thanks much. Oh, BTW I currently drive a 93 Ford Turbo diesel and am the proud owner of 2 B1PW's and 1 C3PW.
