I have a 230 in my WC10 (Carryall) which is heavier than my WC22 (Open Cab Pickup) with a 217. The WC10 has 750x16s while the WC22 has 900x16s. (Stock tire for both trucks is the 700) The WC22 has more pep plus the larger tires give a 10% overdrive. When I put the 900s on the WC10 the Carryall had even less pep. I'm sure there is dyno data out there but my experience with the two engines in two trucks seems to indicate that engine condition and tuning are more important than half a cup of displacement.
