Yours needs to be 54" wide and have a center hinge slot. For flatfender PW's all tailgates post '50's have the later style Dodge lettering that was used to the '70's. There are many gates (later) that have no pressed letters that will also work but not be "correct".
The early PW's (pre '50) had a different lettering style that was common thru the 40's Dodges along with a rolled top edge.
