I recently sold my 92 cummings when I was returning from buying my second power wagon a 53. My new truck is a 99 3500 quad duelly with 24V 5 speed and 355 rears E- brake,235 85r 16 tires. and has 30,065 miles on it she pulled my 28 ft fifth wheel travel trailer 2oo miles to the hill country in centrl texas last week at 70 mph getting 15.5 and returned getting 14.7 with the A/C on. This was on some 4 lane but mostly on a wide two lane rd.
My brother got a 2001 3500 quad, same gearing ,6 speed, HO 24V with E- brake same tires size and 4WD and got 13 hwy when new now 8 months later and 25000? getting about amile better but to be honest who cares when youre driving a DODGE SKAt WAGON cause you can drive any speed you feel like pretty much and looking good doing it ( especially if your hauling your wagon to a meet or just found another Power wagon, there like bookends ain't they. Besides what do we care If irritated overcharged ford owners and those poor looking new chevy diesel owners ( with those ugly cab lights) say that it says dog on the tailgate. Just smile and tell thats cause they spend so much time looking at that DODGE on our Tailgates. Long LIve These DODGE SKAT WAGONS
