If it just sits the seals will dry and you'll have alot of leaking later. Be sure to get all the gas out of the lines and tank and remove the carb and clean it then store the carb on a shelf in a dry spot. After ten years the brakes will be shot too because the fluid will be absorbing water for all that time. Good luck, it'll still be fun to do later.
