I have "repurposed" 2 M-812 bridge trucks.
You have 2 pto levers in the cab. One for the forward winch and the one goes to the rear PTO to run the small hyd pump that runs the boom and winch. Hopefully, the rear PTO should be adequate to run what you need.
I would think it would be the same gearing as the forward winch.
The rear shaft extends back to the pump under the cab.
