I went into a hardware store in California once, many years ago now, and there was a big sign on the wall in front of the ammo that said, "WARNING / This product contains LEAD / A substance known to the STATE OF CALIFORNIA to cause CANCER and REPRODUCTIVE DAMAGE" No mention of blood loss or broken bones, thankfully.
