It's that horrible chemical they're spraying the roads with these days in the winter...it just destroys cars. Up in Canada we used to see way more salt damage than WA, who seemed to use mostly sand. Now, everywhere I go I see that chemical in the roads & man is it bad stuff.
It'll pretty much wreck a set of aluminum wheels in one season if you don't wash your vehicle regularly.
I guess it saves lives so it's hard to argue but I'd keep any trucks you value off the roads until spring if it were me.
