Yep, ur right. These vehicles were designed for post WWII farmers, and the like, who couldn't or didn't want to buy both a tractor and a truck.

Either of my stock Toyota 4x4's will likely out off-road any FFPW and do it more comfortably and economically. But, we do this because we like the vehicle and the feeling of being connected with history.
