I have worked on to many Old Iron's to keep things straight without referring to the build book for each truck. I checked Smokey's build book and then went to the shop and checked. So in addition to the info I gave you on the dual filament light sockets, I did change the lens also. Mine were clear as you have , but were all fogged and scratched.
I found the NAPA 3755A which is a amber lens fits perfect in the stock trim rings. The only thing you need to do is use a dremal tool or small file and make a weenie notch
180 degrees apart where the trim ring screw passed the lens.
The end result is perfect fit.....but you do have a amber lens instead of clear
