Im looking for some suggestions on what I should do for a rear door and side window glass on my Carryall. I never intended to do an actual restoration, but I would like to stay as true as possible to the original design. I guess thats why I always start out with a pile of rusted metal....then nobody can grill be on being "correct" ;)

Here is what I have: decent body from the roof seam and door frames back, no rear doors, no side windows or associated mechanisms. For a donor, I have a partial'43 WC ambulance which is as perfect as it gets (for sitting in a field for 40 years) from the roof seam and door frames forward, hell, the doors open and shut like new!

My plan is to use all of the ambulance metal from the back of the doors forward on the carryall good parts. For side windows, I was going to find or have fitting glass cut to have fixed far back windows, and rig up electrics for the middles, then I was thinking on the rear doors to modify some early International barn doors to match the body lines and they would be fixed glass. I thought about doing some kind of sliding glass for the side windows similar to the Town Wagon.

Im spitballing right now, but dreaming up ideas is fun.....
