PPG DBC Paul. Look in your product sheets and it'll tell you to use DX57 hardener and gives the mixing ratios. When my counter man found out mine was a keeper he told me to do it.

He explained to me what happens is when you feather out a repair the reducers can work their way between the layers and soaks into the original base(non hardened}. It's trapped under the hardened clear that was allready there and can sometimes cause lifting or blisters. Maybe he was lying to me but he was right on everything else he told me.
