this raises the grill from where it was the thickness of the grill as it now sits on top of this extension so the ole holes on the early grill may not be in the right place anymore
donçt know if it needed to go up to clear the winch or not
you could always just weld a pc of stock the same dimension as the grill frame to the back of the top grill frame drill holes accordlingly and extend forward only not up that way the holes on the side of the early grill will still line up
I would do the same all the way around except the bottom and forget the ext. with the bend in them--i think it would look more better--just a beefer grill
