i would just weld a pc the same thickness length and width of the grill drill the same holes to the back sides of the grill on the sides and maybe the top(so you can bolt the shell to it) weld up the holes in the grill and bolt it up where it used to be
when you weld it to the grill you may need to check if needs you need to raise it a hair to clear the winch as per the pic i posted
