I looked long and hard at a "bridge crane" because I really want one, but it started to get cost prohibitive. The load would require foundation and footings which will effectively double my concrete costs. I do plan on a 6" pour and will map out where the lift etc. will be so those areas will be dug a little deeper. Then I saw a factory who hung an "I" beam from the bottom cord of their trusses running parallel to the side wall. They had a trolley and an electric hoist that moved along the length of the beam.
I plan on running 400A ele svc. and run conduit outside the finished wall so it is easier to move if need be. Same with my air lines, they will be outside the wall as opposed to inside for the same reason.
