I'm going to be swapping in a 4.56-geared Dana 70HD rear into my '50 once my 360/NP435 setup is installed. The rear originally came from a Dodge motorhome, and it's a ten-lug (on 7.25", I think) with discs. I've been nail biting over how to keep the original bolt pattern of the truck, but it appears that Moser Engineering can do the redrilling for either $60 or $90 a side, depending on a factor that escapes me at the moment. Moser is just a little northward of me, and they are the best of the best at what they do. I will call them when I get some free time, and let you all know what they can do. All that remains for me to conquer is the front Dana swap, where they are eight-lug. If I'm not mistaken, there's not enough room for the Power Wagon's 6 7/8" pattern on the eight-lug hub. If anyone knows, could you let us know? Worst-case scenario, I can try to find someone who makes custom front hubs, or attempt a set myself.
