This is already done on most vehicles. I don't know any specifics on how long, what vehicles or anything like that. The company I work for had an 05 or 06 frieghtliner hit a car that ran a red light and the car driver was killed. When the state patrol did the investigation, they were able to go back 5 or 10 miles before the wreck on the ddec ecm and see how the driver was driving. It showed that several miles out he was 4-5 miles over speed limit, but about 5 miles out he was at speed limit and a mile before the scene he was a mile or 2 under. They finally proved that the car driver had heart attack before the intersection. Roy
