The best advise I can give you or anyone else pushing snow with a tractor is to put on a set of Trygg chains and a good heavy counterweight on the back. I have a 1986 MF 250 with the 40 hp. Perkins, loaded tires, Trygg chains, and an 800 lb. weight on the three point hitch arms. You do get serious traction with this option of equipment. However depending on the size of tires you will need to budget close to $1000. But it works. LOL. JJB.
