Hauled the Carryall body back home this weekend. Despite the lack of anything to roll on, it loaded rather easy. Tried to destroy my Hi-Lift trying to get the chassis loose from the frozen ground, but once we got some plywood and 2x4's slid up under it, the Warn 9500 on my jeep had no trouble sliding it up on the trailer. Had a decent idea to park the Jeep at a 45° angle next to the trailer, then run the line to a snatch block secured to the gooseneck ball in my truck bed, then on to the hook on the back of the carryall. I think the whole process took about 1 1/2 hours, but the actual operation of moving it from the ground to the trailer took about 10 minutes. She was ready to go home apparently!! Then I had the 2 1/2 hour drive home to daydream. Now I just need to save up for a 94-98 Cummins 2500 4x4 for the build to start!!
