I got a air power long board. great for taking filler down to about 120. Trick on sanding mud is get it while it is still soft, saves much time and paper. then start with off color guide coat and the hand powered long board. Also use different color hardener in your body filler. The DA is good for a mud grinder if you are removing old mud if you lock the head so it just revolves and use 80 grit.
If you try finishing with the DA it will kick your butt.
