Mannyc; I agree with you but haven’t seen photo yet. The Budd dual lug nut system I’m familiar with has a square end protruding like a ratchet or breaker bar on the “lug stud” (threaded with a larger OD with threaded ID that threads over the normal size wheel stud with a shoulder that holds on the inner wheel), then the outer wheel is held on with a normal size lug nut with a larger ID to go over the “lug stud”. Tim, Reverse threads? Do you mean Left hand threads on one side of the truck, Right hand on the other?
