If I am reading the information correctly, it appears that the standard preferred rim width for a 9.00x16 tires is 7-inches. And, our Power-Wagons used the alternate 6.50-inch wide rim.

Also from the same page - new 9.00x16 section width on the alternate 6.50-inch wide rim = 9.70-inches. 11.00-inch minimum dual spacing. 11.00-9.7=1.3-inch between sidewalls on duals in this application.
