Kaegi, I have been in the Marine industry since the early 70"s when the first triple nickle came out and was widely talked about as a break through dependable engine the reality is the 555 is the best boat anchor you could ask for. You can't keep a head gasket in these things for more than a few months and good luck with getting parts. One of the highliners in the harbor installed one in his commercial boat and went through 3 engines in 6 months before installing a GMC.We have one at work in a heavy forklift that we have to feed a steady diet of Bar's leak just to keep it running because parts have to come from some of the local farmers who had them years ago in their Ag equipment.
