I got my paint booth home and part of it in my shop yesterday. Quite an accomplishment in itself. This booth did not have a filter bank as they were not worried about dust. It was just for confining and exhausting plastic overspray for hot tubs. I'm trying to locate a formula for air filter area vs. exhaust cfm. Does anyone know of such a formula or how to determine what I would need? My HVAC tech has a manometer to check pressures but I'd like to be close on the filter size when I start fabricating the wall. So far the websites I've read give vague generalities but nothing firm. Any help in this area? Thanks.
