Here's the thing guys...it's too easy for a crazy idiot to get a gun in the US because they're available everywhere. This means they're also available in Canada & Mexico to anyone that feels the need to get one & isn't concerned about laws.
Nobody's concerned about any of you guys having access to guns...it's the 1% of the population that isn't fully there yet they can walk into a Wallmart & come out with enough ammo to ruin hundreds of folks lives.
The biggest problem of all is that there are millions & millions of guns floating around now & you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube & so we can only hope that government begins spending the billions of dollars it will take to keep these nuts medicated & away from the general public.
Could these idiots use knives? I guess they could use chainsaws, knives or even tennis rackets but guns seem to be the weapon of choice. This is more common in the US than in England & there's a reason for that.
Nobody cares about hunters buying rifles but there is very little need for Wallmart selling hand guns.
That's my $.02 & I understand you guys that collect guns are going to feel threatened by that but I'm guessing there might be a few folks in CT who are starting to see the light.
