Seems it turned out that Acetone is not poisonous, we make it within. Doesn't cause cancer, doesn't cause smog. So it is now a "Kalifornia Compliant Thinner" used in everydarnthing that used to be "oil based". Used to be the cheapest solvent around. Not no mo.

I'd go with lacquer thinner, paint thinner gasoline, kerosene, I'm sure they would all suffice. Whatever you've got.
