That is a scam. Did they text you or call you? This has happened to me a few times. I always try to call them back, but the numbers never go through. I just sold a 1998 Chevy Tahoe and got a similar responce. I write these numbers down and try to find out who they are. I think they are computer programs trying to get personal information like bank account numbers.
