I'm not trying to talk anyone out of buying the truck.Just the opposite..I hope someone on the forum buys it..... but I looked at this truck and the guy who is "flipping" the truck is leaving some things out...so to speak. The current owner purchased the truck about 3 weeks ago....the guy in new castle who was originaly selling it would take $4500..so you have an idea what it went for approx. 4 weeks ago. There is front frame damage..you can see the bent bumper piece in the photos. the rear step bumper was also hit and popped up on right side. as is coasts way..they welded everything to the frame..so your looking at some rear frame issues as well. There was NO SEAT in the truck...so the seat that is in it now was put in by the current owner..which is fine..except he uses it as a reference to the trucks superior condition. the truck sat out in a field in norcal for a long time..with no seat...so how exactly was it driven on the farm/ranch?....saying its been indoors its whole life isnt accurate either. The rest is buyer beware...those are the things I noticed. Hope it helps anyone considering buying the truck....and as you know..I do Love fire trucks..so if you get it..keep in touch with me on it :)I can help with the resto as I have 2 coast FFPW fire trucks.
