I worked with a man many years ago. He claimed to be a survivor of the USS Arizona. We all rolled our eyes when he'd tell his story about being on a liberty to Pearl on the 7th. I took him home one night after he had too many to drive. His wife showed me his den and the proof that he was telling the truth. Ray would have been in his nineties now if he were still living.
I have to tip my hat to him and all the men like him who sacrificed so much.
