I have the 1676337 head, it looks very similar to the 1822040 one. The 1822040 number doesn't show up in any of my lists, the 57-59 # is 1676337. I plugged the internal bypass with a 3/8" pipe plug, and will use an external bypass water neck and the internal bypass head gasket. Haven't tried the head out yet, so I can't say how well it works. In order to get best performance, you'd need to upgrade carburetion and cam, simply bolting this head up would likely be disappointing.
