I've only got a list of numbers. And a rebuilder's catalog page with some years vs proper head#. Not enough to tell if a head is OE for an 'all original' truck. They range from 87xxxx to today's 182xxxx. And I think the later the higher, and the better.

My point to collecting what I have was to build data on head thickness OE vs milled to raise comp. IIRC, I surmised that OE was about 1.990" - that is the thickest one anybody has. Most are about 1.940, so milled about 1/16" over 50+ years? Nobody, Clint, Eric, or Vaughn, came up with a spec from a manual for OE thickness.

Plus, I have a small note that one of my heads is 115 psi, with a 80cc combustion chamber. If anybody wants to measure the volume of a loose had for comparison, we can start more data collection. You need a piece of clear plastic (welders hood insert?) with a 1/4" hole and a way to measure CCs, like a horse size syringe.
