Pulleys are easily interchangeable. All you need is a 1/2" impact gun and the right socket. Even some generator pulleys work. But the correct one is usually on ebay for about $18. Sometimes they are 3-4 piece, so adjustble for belt size. IIRC, seller is triode-diode or some such.

I like to run the widest, smallest diameter pulley the belt will fit. I want the alt spinning as fast as possible on the low speed flat head engine. With the not-quite "Sumo wrestler size OE belt". I run the normally in stock fattest belt, umm, 9/16" instead of 11/16?

My 3-wire junkyard alt works fine. $15 for alt, $18 for pulley. Get the plug with it, bring clippers to the junkyard.
