So long as you're willing to sell it for $8k or $9k...cause that's all you're gonna get for a truck that's neither a garage queen that someone will pay big bucks for, or a work truck that a guy's going to drive very often.
I mean if you leave the Holmes on the back, your only market to sell it to is a guy that's going to drive it once a year to the annual big truck show & then back into the barn till next year...& that guy isn't going to pay $25k for her. I offered $25k for the Autocar that goes to Hollister & it's not half the truck your White is but it's 1000% more useable than your truck.
See that truck is just like a firetruck....everybody loves it...everybody wants it left as is...everybody wants to see it at the parade & everybody wants it....just nobody prepared to put their money where their mouth is because they have no use for it.
I'd never alter that truck with an under lift or some modern crap...it would all stay 1952...a hitch & 1952 trailer & you have a saleable vehicle in my books :)
Don't get me wrong...I love to look at that truck....that's why I haven't bought it though....if I'm gonna leave the wrecker body on it, all I can do is look at it & I can do that for free already while you own it! :)
