Here's the thing, you can't afford to pay $20k+ for lawn art....it needs to be useable or it's just not something I would want. So the thing is, are you really going to be able to go into the towing/recovery business with that truck? No...not competitively anyway.
That said, if you yanked the bed off & removed one of those rear axles & got yourself a nice old lowboy like the Autocar that shows up at Hollister every year...now you have something every PW collector wants for hauling their old trucks around safely! :)
I mean lets be realistic, you can't run that truck on the road daily as a work truck with a Cummins 250 in it & it would be very sad to see it sitting in a museum in my mind. A museum is like an old folks home...neither one I want to end up at :) :)
So now's your chance to save the old White with 15K original miles...I'm lighting up my torch!
