PTO Seal Question

This is the PTO on the 1947 WF-31 2WD 1.5 ton. Tightening the nut on the rope seal on the shift-rail (lower right) helped slow that leak somewhat. Tightening the retainer cap on the output shaft (upper left) did nothing. What type of seal is used on the output shaft? Any idea on availability? Would like to have some idea before I open it up. Either way, I have to go in, 'cause it's draining the transmission nearly dry. Thanks.
