As far as 6volt Mopar Heaters are concerned, the most efficient one Dodge used IMO was the WWII closed cab 1/2 & 3/4 ton Ambulance Heater. It is a rectangular shaped unit with two electric motors. One motor is used to blow hot hot air towards the driver and the other motor is used to blow hot air toward the passenger. There is an outlet tube on top of the unit to which a defroster hose is attached which runs to a seperate defroster blower motor with a "Y" tube and from there up to the defroster duct nozzles. Not period correct for a Civi Power wagon but boy is it efficient. Installed one in my WC-12 and man the cab heats up real fast.
