motor ? NOT Dodge

I have a problem and need your help.
I got a car for my son.
98 Chevy Lumina 3.1 V6 Transvers mounted front wheel drive
Ran good, then lost all power
Now turns over starts and dies.
I pulled both valve covers,removed the belt.
When I turn the crank by hand.
The 2 rockers on the front pass side go up and down.
And the 4 rear on the pass side go up and down.
But the others dont move.
Two cylinders closest to the driver side were wet and smelled of gas.
Oil looks clean no water.
Any suggestions. Thanks
