My take is work with your radiator shop and have them fix or find a replacement tank that will fit/work. The price quoted is not bad. I paid $725 for the last recore, change in/out necks to match the Cummins, new pressure neck.

Spending 450 for a reconditioned radiator is throwing your money away. I would like to know what a reconditioned radiator really consists of. A flush, test and paint ???? A reconditioned radiator could also be ready to start cracking on the tanks. This is a common issue my rad shop tells me on old tanks.
