My normal route home is the 15 fwy though Cajon Pass. When jammed up by accident, fire, or just for fun I take the mountain trail passes (Cleg Horn). Today I entered the last open trail head as they closed all other trail exits (for small fire on 15fwy). Stuck between a lock gate and a hill to steep to climb I was trapped. Hill climb attempts just loosed up the earth, bad idea knowing I would later need to drive a truck down and back up it with a Honda attached. Facing the knowledge that a hike was inevitable, last thought, I called the Forest Ranger that helped with the Lytle Creek Power Wagon Rally. She was able to send help. In short time the gate was open and we where moving again. Thank You Forest Service.
