So there was a thread on alignment on mast forum, and another one down below on this forum. The spec is generally agreed to be 1/8" toe in. I know that folks have a variety of ways to measure it, but it is always out at the tire.
When I was putting my M37 "Blueberry" together, I borrowed a military tool that was made for reading toe in on am M37. Reading the directions, it told how to take the measurement from the inside rear of the rims and again across the inside front of the rims. This difference is the 1/8" toe in. Now the rims are about 16" diameter. Therefore the 1/8" is measured over 16". If you measure across the rear of your tire and across the front of your tire you are measuring somewhere around 34" or more if you are running 11:00-16s. Therefore, if you had a truck with the toe in that measured 1/8" at the rims, and measured it at the tires, it would read over 1/4" toe in. Conversely, if it read 1/8" at the tires, it would be less than 1/16" at the rims.
Let the discussion begin!
Tim
