My brother is visiting from Drake, Colorado. He told me "Nebraska drivers don't do curves". I guess those Midwest states have compass line roads and intersections, but no curves. They go really slow on mountain roads.
On a previous visit it Iowa, I saw dump trucks with sleeper cabs, their gravel comes for 700 miles away, Iowa is all top soil a thousand feet deep.
So there are regional differences. Build your truck to suit your use.
