Patience. These screws are always a problem. Keep soaking them. Maybe, hold a screwdriver bit with a hammer and give them some light raps.
Even if it takes a week or more, it will be worth the wait. Replacement screws that fit right are not readily available.
As long as you haven't messed up the head, you still have a chance of success. When they do start, they will give with a pop and come out easily the rest of the way.
