Chrysler Crown Imperials with 8&3/4" third members

Did the 1941-52 Chrysler Crown Imperial Limo's have 8&3/4" third members in them. On another forum, a gentlemen is claiming that they will bolt right in to the housing on a 1 Ton Pilothouse truck which have the same third member housings as the WWII 1/2 ton WC trucks. Kaegi or Chris Case, have you guys got any Info on this swap. The CCIL's were equipped with 3.58 third members.
