As far as automotive alternators they are rated to make max amperage in the neighborhood of 1200 rpm (engine rpm) The actual alternator shaft rpm can be in the 4000rpm range but it is not very common to state the shaft rpm.
Max alternator output will vary depending on what model and original application. Just as an example here the Delco 10si was made in 37, 42, 55, 61, and 63 amp ratings. The Delco 12si came in 56, 66, 78, 94 amp ratings. There were several other models in higher ratings yet, but I mentioned the 10si, 12si specifically because they have internal voltage regulators and ease of availability.
The alternator ratings depend on rpm, windings, pulley size, and metered voltage. If the battery only needs 10a to maintain the 14.2V then thats all it will put out. But the same alternator may be capable of much more output if need be. Your needed 30A @1800rpm would be no problem for an average Delco 10Si alternator which is historically the cheapest price alternator available.
