Tire Question - yup another one!

I know we have talked about this before, but would 215/85R16 C range tires mount safetly on my '41 half ton WC Budd split rims I have four from an older Chevy C20 that look great and I am thinking of trying them on for size. Any thoughts? They are all snow tires with agressive tread.
